Santo Associates
Santo Associates is a client oriented, moderately sized Professional Land Surveying and Engineering company. The
origins of our present day company were established in 1978. Since that time, Santo Associates has developed a
proven track record of providing quality services at competitive rates. Clients are able to benefit from the consistent
involvement of our principals whose combined industry experience totals more than one-hundred twenty-five (125)
years. This "hands-on" approach by our principals, coupled with our skilled project managers and our
knowledgeable staff, has translated into significant time and end-cost savings for our clients.
Traditionally, Santo Associates has provided a wide range of surveying, engineering and land planning services.
Today, more than ever, our firm can assist our clients from feasibility study and conceptual layout, through the
municipal approval process, and into detailed design and construction. With the attentiveness and rate structure
of a smaller firm and the experience and breadth of services of a larger firm, Santo Associates is considered unique
in the industry.
Santo Associates is constantly striving to use today's technology to the benefit of our clients. Each of the company's
full-time field survey crews is equipped with modern "total stations" and electronic data collectors.
Additionally, each crew vehicle and each office is equipped with a modern mobile communication system, thus enabling
the offices and field personnel to be in contact virtually at any time and place. This permits Santo Associates
to respond quickly to the changing and unexpected needs of our clients and also gives field personnel access to
our extensive office computer system. Each office is also equipped with Computer Aided Design (CAD) workstations.
The advantages of our integrated Engineering and Surveying CAD software are clearly evident; we have realized increased
accuracy, decreased project time, and an end product that can be optimized very efficiently. The Santo Associates'
Surveying Department has also taken a leadership role in the area of Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite
surveying. Santo Associates owns and operates state-of-the-art GPS receivers and software and its personnel have
set thousands of GPS control points for hundreds of miles of GPS based surveys in real world coordinates with minimal
point occupation time and exceptional accuracy.
At present, the company has offices in two (2) New York State locations, Catskill and Clifton Park. The Catskill
Office is located at 340 Main Street in the Village of Catskill, Greene County. The Clifton Park Office is located
at 1 Barney Road in the Town of Clifton Park, Saratoga County.
Santo Associates' charter will continue to stress direct project involvement by our principals and to place the
company's emphasis on quality and client satisfaction. To date the results of this focus has been that a high percentage
of our projects are from previously satisfied clients. We consider this to be testimony of a successful system,
one that is continuously monitored and refined in response to the changing needs of our clients.
